First post

Hey everyone. I thought I would start my blog by giving an equipment rundown – the gear I use on the daily, and why I use them.

the cameras

I’m bringing these with me wherever I go, and they make it easy to get the perfect shot.

  • canon rebel t6
    • a solid entry-level DSLR camera that offers good image quality, fast autofocus, and user-friendly features. It is a good choice for those who are new to photography and want to learn the basics of DSLR photography
  • minolta riva zoom 115
    • a solid compact camera with a good zoom lens and autofocus system. It is a good choice for those looking for a reliable and easy-to-use camera for everyday photography

the tripod

As a photographer constantly balancing both landscape and portraits, I need a tripod that is reliable, sturdy, and easy to use. After trying out several options, I finally found the perfect tripod for my needs – the Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod MKCOMPACTADV. One of the things I love about this tripod is its construction, which is lightweight and easy to carry on long hikes. It still feels incredibly sturdy and can support up to 19.8 pounds, which is more than enough for my camera gear. The tripod also has a great range of movement, with a maximum height of 66.9 inches and a minimum height of 3.5 inches. This versatility allows me to capture a wide range of compositions and angles, from low to the ground to high above. Overall, I would highly recommend the Manfrotto tripod to any photographer looking for a reliable and versatile tripod. Its lightweight construction, sturdy build, and ease of use make it the perfect companion for any photography adventure.
